Hi. My name is Brian U. Garrison. BUG!

I write for children, adults, and grand adults. My writing reflects the stories that I read: poetry, science fiction and fantasy, a smattering of just-plain-ol’-science, joke books, and so much more. When I'm not writing or reading, I love climbing trees, digging in the garden, and learning new chords on my ukulele (and banjolele). I'll happily sign your copy of my chapbook New Yesterdays, New Tomorrows if you find me ordering Thai curry from my favorite food cart in Portland, Oregon.

I volunteer with the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association. One of my roles is Managing Editor for the online quarterly Eye to the Telescope. I also recently joined the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA)!
